The Metropolitan is arguably the highlight of a trip to NYC. From a restored Roman villa to an Egyptian Temple to masterpieces by artists from ancient times to the present day, it is an extraordinary collection. This lecture will focus on the most important works in the museum by artists from Leonardo, Velasquez, Vermeer, Cezanne and Sargent. Suzanne Altman is an art educator and art historian who has presented art and art history programs throughout Rockland and Westchester counties. She is also a painter who works out of her studio and art school in Garnerville, NY and exhibits frequently. This program is free. No registration is necessary. Seats are on a first come basis.
