June 30: Morris Plains Community Park, Morris Plains. Family day starts at 5 p.m., with fireworks to follow at 9:30 p.m.

July 4: Livingston High School, Livingston. A festival (with food, live music and amusement rides) begins at 10 a.m., with fireworks at dusk.

July 4: Yogi Berra Stadium, Montclair. Parade kicks off at 11 a.m. on Bloomfield Ave., with fireworks at the stadium after the sun goes down.
